Search suspended for missing man

Pennsylvania State Police suspend search for Maxwell Duesterhoeft, 21, who was last seen at about 2 am Saturday when he walked away from a party  wearing a red sweatshirt, blue jeans and no shoes.

Dozens of volunteers, tracking dogs, the Pocono Search and Rescue team and state police helicopter searched the area around 600 Pine Road in East Hanover Township most of the day for Duesterhoeft.  Volunteers also searched nearby Swatara Creek. The search ended at about 7:30 this evening.

So far, no word on whether the search will resume Tuesday. Anyone with any information on the case is asked contact the PSP Jonestown barracks at (717) 865-2194.
