York City Police are investigating a shooting that occurred around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday night in the area of Princess and West Street. Police say they found 23-year-old Trever Smallwood, from York laying on the sidewalk shot in the lower leg.
Smallwood was transported to York Hospital and is currently listed in stable condition.
Police believe the unknown suspects fled the scene in an unknown vehicle just after shots were fired.
