WARMING!:  We’re closing in on a 120 year record this morning, with temperatures near 20° to start one last really cold morning for us.  Sun gives way to clouds today as warmer air finally begins its trek northward into the state.  Highs today hit the middle to upper 40s.  Tonight, we’re only into the mid 30s.

WET FRIDAY:  Clouds and showers greet us through the daylight hours, with rain tapering in the evening.  We do warm a bit though as temperatures move into the middle to upper 50s.  It’s a seasonably cool but damp day.

Warmer air awaits us

WEEKEND:  A vigorous low pressure system rolls over top of us on Saturday, which brings us more rain showers.  A few showers linger in the forecast through early Sunday.  Highs Saturday are in the low 50s with mid 50s for Sunday with clearing later in the day.

NEXT WEEK:  The pattern shift looks on track, with less cold air and more frequent, yet weaker storm systems rolling over us.  Monday starts with sunshine and 60s for highs.  Tuesday, a wave brings showers with highs in the upper 50s.  Wednesday we break, and Thursday our next system brings some rain.  You get the idea.  We’ll fine tune details as we progress toward next week.

Warmer air awaits us

Have a terrific Thursday!
