Harrisburg woman charged in severe beating of 4 year old in her care

A Harrisburg woman is charged in the severe beating of a four year old child in her care. On Wednesday, city police responded to call involving an unresponsive child at a home in the first block of North 18th Street.  The child was taken to a local hospital where he was treated for a head trauma. Doctors also found signs of new and old abuse.

Further investigation revealed that boy’s two year old sister also had signs of ongoing abuse.

Based upon their investigation police arrested and charged the children’s caregiver, Goldie Duncan, 32, with Aggravated Assault and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

    Why in the name of God would someone leave their children with someone like this??? They HAD to know something wasn't right. IMO, they need to arrest the parents who let this monster take care of her kids.
