NY College will offer class on Miley Cyrus

Students attending Skidmore College in upstate New York, will be twerking for their course credits this summer.
The school announced it’s adding “The Sociology of Miley Cyrus: Race, Class, Gender and Media” to its list of classes.
According to the College website, students in the class will examine core issues of intersectionality theory, looking at the interplay among race, class, and gender, as well as take a feminist critique of media and sociology of media approach to the Miley “problem.”
Cyrus is the latest musician to be the focus of a college class, Rutgers University already offers a course on Beyonce and students who attend Georgetown can take a course on Jay-Z.
