(Orlando Sentinel) A soldier stationed at Fort Stewart in South Georgia took some extreme measures when teaching his daughter a lesson about keeping a clean room.
WSAV reports that the man, who did not want to be identified, decided to move everything in his daughter’s bedroom to the family’s driveway after being fed up with the messy room.
The drastic move was done while the daughter was at school. When she got home, she saw her belongings in the driveway along with a sign that read, “Haley, room moved to driveway. Clean it next time.”
According to WSAV, the man told his daughter that he didn’t want to “treat her like a soldier,” but decided to send her the message when she didn’t listen.
While the daughter thought the tactic was “extreme,” her room is getting a fresh coat of paint in hopes that it will stay clean from now on.
