Amani Terrell is stripping down on Hollywood Boulevard, and strutting down the famed street to let the world know it’s not wrong to have curves.

Terrell is performing this bikini stunt  because she was tired of how people perceived obesity, and wanted to show people that beauty comes in all shapes and sizes.

“You cannot seek validation from other people. The world is very cruel,” says Terrell. “You must seek validation within yourself and be kind to yourself.”

The 260-pound Terrell admitted that she has to lose weight, but she’s not letting her weight hold her down.

“There’s a misconception that big women have low self-esteem. I don’t have low self-esteem.”

And that diabetes and wheezing is pretty sexy too. Don't let them tell you being 300lbs before they amputate your foot isn't hot. You go girl.

Just more of the American "it's okay to be a big giant fat-ass" attitude. People trying to say that fat-shaming is bullying and such a big no no. You disgust me! Just eat eat and eat. Over indulge your entire life then act like you're the victim. I honestly thought it was just gonna be a pudgy broad. Not this broad pudge! gross! Yeah, lets celebrate this disgustingly unhealthy lifestyle. She's making a statement now?? what statement is that?? I don't give a crap what people think or i don't give a crap about living past 45??

the statement, I think, is that shaming for anything is wrong, and that she's not going to let others determine how she feels about herself. She admitted that she needs to lose weight for health issues. but she isn't letting people like you make that decision for her by tearing her apart. I don't know why you're flying off the handle here, yo. it's not like this affects your life personally. don't like what you see, don't look at it. ultimately you are the one who clicked on it. by the way, not all of us overeat or sit on our rears all day. I run 3 miles a day and eat under 1800 calories a day. I'm still a size 18. Why? I am on a medication for my ADHD that has a side effect of weight gain. Am I fat? sure. am I unhealthy. NOPE. chill out.
