Girl arrested for bomb threats at Susquehanna Twp

A 16 year-old girl is accused of making two bomb threats at Susquehanna Township High School today. Police say they were initially contacted by the school this morning at 8:05 when a handwritten note was found in a school bathroom. The note threatened that a bomb was somewhere in the school. Students and staff were evacuated. A search by police and a explosives detecting K9 cleared the school and the school day resumed. Shortly after that, another note was discovered in a bathroom of the school, again indicating a bomb in the school.

Students were evacuated again. After reviewing surveillance video of the hallways, police interviewed the suspect, who admitted to placing both notes in the bathrooms. She is charged with 2 counts of Terroristic Threats, and 2 counts of Weapons of Mass Destruction. The suspect was processed and turned over to the Dauphin County Juvenile Probation Office for detention.
