“Hug an Anchor Day”

Have you ever wanted to hug an anchor?  Today is your chance.  It’s National Hug an Anchor Day!  It all started back in 2009, Fox and Friends’ Clayton Morris and Dave Briggs decided to set-up a hugging booth in Manhattan.  It wasn’t very successful. In fact, most people gave the two on-air personalities awkward looks when they reached out for a warm embrace.  But the sentiment was there and hug and anchor day is now celebrated at a national holiday.
