STAYING SOGGY
Spotty morning showers continue to cross the area ahead of an approaching cold front. Some spotty showers are expected to continue through the day, but there will be plenty of dry time too. The brunt of the shower activity won’t arrive until later in the day and through the evening with the passage of the cold front. High temperatures are cooler today, only reach the upper 40s to lower 50s. Additional rainfall totals range up to a half of an inch at most. There continues to be no major flooding concerns, but we need to keep an eye on creeks and streams. Friday night, the showers taper and skies clear as the cold front clears the area.
WEEKEND BREAK
The weekend is looking absolutely spectacular! High pressure takes control, keeping the region dry. Saturday, some passing clouds are expected, but there’s plenty of sunshine to go around. Highs are in the middle to upper 50s. Sunday brings plenty of blue skies, and high temperatures peak into the 60s.
NEXT WEEK
Our next system doesn’t arrive until Monday, bringing the chance for showers during the afternoon. A few showers could linger into next Tuesday, but Wednesday looks dry. Highs are in the middle to upper 50s through this timeframe. Thursday more sunshine is expected, and temperatures warm into the middle 60s.
