Today marks the 20th anniversary of the death of rock singer Kurt Cobain.
The Nirvana frontman committed suicide, shooting himself at his home in Seattle on April 5th, 1994.
Rumors have swirled over the years that foul play was involved, but police still consider his death a suicide and the case remains closed.
Cobain is survived by his wife, Courtney Love, and their daughter, Frances Bean who is now
21-years old.
Nirvana was known for hits like “Smells Like Teen Spirit” and “Come As You Are.”
Cobain was 27.
