An early morning house fire in southern York County caused an estimated $87,000 in damage, according to fire officials.
Flames broke out around 6:47 a.m. along the 5900 block of Holly Tree Court in Cross Roads Borough.
When crews arrived at the scene, a portion of the home was fully engulfed in flames. Firefighters were able to get it under control in about 30 minutes.
No injures were reported.
According to Eureka Fire Chief Ira Walker Jr., this was the second time in nine years that the owner was forced from his home because of a fire.
Authorities have not yet determined how the fire started.
A state police fire marshal is investigating.
