GM recall repairs start today

gmrecallGeneral Motors is about to start repairs on the millions of vehicles at the center of a recall.

Starting today, the owners of six GM models can take their vehicles to a dealer to fix the ignition switch.

The first repairs are available for model years 2003 through 2007.

The models include the Chevy Cobalt, The HHR, The Pontiac G5 and Solstice, plus the Saturn Ion and Sky.

Other models will be added at a later date.

The faulty ignition switch is tied to at least 13 deaths.
