It turns out most Americans would sacrifice extra time off for a little more money in their paycheck.
According to a new survey by Accounting Principals, workers overwhelmingly choose a 5 percent pay raise over an extra week of paid vacation.
The Jacksonville, Florida based staffing firm surveyed 1,000 people to come up with the findings.
Of the 1,000 participants, 79-percent chose a pay raise over extra time off. Other research has long shown American workers get and take less vacation time than their counterparts in other industrialized countries.
