MILD AIR: Today, we continue the mild trend that lasts into early next week.  Highs today roll into the upper 60s with a southwesterly breeze.  There’s plenty of sunshine for us today as well.  Tonight, we only fall to near 50° as clouds roll in ahead of a cold front.

HIGHS

BASEBALL:  It’s the Senators home opener this evening at City Island.  The game starts 7:05PM against the Reading Phillies.  It’s a nice, breezy, dry, and mostly sunny start to the game.  Temps hang out in the 60s.

SENATORS

FRIDAY:  We’re looking at the chance for a few showers early in the day, with a break and some mild weather for midday.  Highs will hit the middle 60s.  Then, as the cold front slows a wave aloft will develop along the front and bring showers and storms again into the evening and early overnight hours.

WEEKEND:  Scattered clouds to sunshine along with warmer air are in play for Saturday.  Highs will top out in near 70°.  Sunday, it’s even warmer with highs into the middle 70s.  It’s partly to mostly cloudy with the chance for a few drops as a warm front slides north.  If you’re doing to the Blue & White game Saturday in State College, it’s nice & dry and partly cloudy with temps in the 60s.

NEXT WEEK:  We’re in the low 70s for Monday with increasing clouds and the chance for rain and storms late as a cold front shifts east.  Showers continue into Tuesday, with colder air spilling in fast through the day.  This cooler air lasts into midweek dropping us back to the 50s and 60s.
