The first ever Gettysburg food tour kicks of this weekend.
Not only is it delectable, but educational too!
Between stops, the tour guide presents stories to help participants understand more about the town and its history.
The walking tour lasts a little more than 3 hours and features 8 local restaurants.
“Something that I wanted to open a business, I just think a food tour is a great idea a friend of mine had gone on one and she said – this would be great in this town! So it’s just a way to bring the community in and work together with everybody – and it’s just guiding your tastebuds through a tour of downtown Gettysburg,” says food tour guide, Lori Korczyk.
Tours take place every weekend and run through the summer.
