A Lower Paxton man is accused of setting fire to the apartment he lives in the Pennswood Apartment complex. Lower Paxton Township Police and the Colonial Park Fire Department were dispatched to the fire at 416 A Amherst Drive Tuesday around 3:23pm. While firefighters dealt with the flames, police evacuated residents of the complex.

After the fire was put out, the Lower Paxton Township Fire Marshall was summoned to investigate when the Fire Chief determined that the fire was suspicious. After the on-scene investigation, Lower Paxton Police arrested one of the occupants of the apartment, 18 year old Timothy Henry White for Arson. White was arraigned at the Dauphin County Judicial Center where bail was set at $5000. He was released after the bail was posted.
