(KDVR) DENVER — Captain America may be topping the box office right now, but it was Ironman who stole the show in Colorado Tuesday.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation helped a little boy fulfill his dream of being able to fly like his favorite superhero … complete with the outfit brought in from Hollywood.
Eight-year-old Max Vertin got the hero’s welcome at SkyVenture Colorado in Lone Tree.
He’s fighting a life threatening disease that is eating away at his muscles, but has the courage and strength of a superhero… perfect for Ironman.
His smile is infectious, as you’ll see as KDVR’s Deborah Takahara reports.
