Now, Jay-Z is looking to give the west coast a taste of the action.
He’s bringing his festival to Los Angeles as well.
While one concert is going on in Philadelphia, another will be going on at the same time in the City of Angels.
Jay Z explained why he chose downtown L.A., saying, “It’s in the city. Not some far off place you can’t get to. No disrespect to any other festivals. No shots. But in the middle of the city, look how beautiful this park is. It’s accessible to everyone. It’s inclusion, it’s not exclusive. Not something far away.”
There’s no word yet on the lineup, but Jay Z hinted that several genres will be represented.
