The children’s cancer research charity, St. Baldrick’s is making a stop in York County this weekend.
A large group of local men and women are shaving their heads in support of finding a cure for children diagnosed with cancer.
“Every three minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer,” says Jason Mosebach, the Volunteer Event Organizer, ” and this is a good way to let them know they’re not alone when it comes to losing hair.”
Those who shaved their head on FOX43 Morning News and those who will shave their head for the event on Saturday say it’s a way of showing solidarity for children across the nation.
