High-speed motorcycle crash kills Wrightsville man

A man was killed Saturday afternoon after a high-speed motorcycle crash in Lower Windsor Township, York County.  Police received a report of a single-vehicle motorcycle accident around 4:40 p.m. along the 2700 block of Craley Road.

The victim, identified as 60-year-old Ralph Brookens, was driving at a high rate of speed when he lost control and veered off the road, according to the York County Coroner’s office.

Brookens, of Wrightsville, died in an ambulance while en route to the hospital, investigators said.

The accident remains under investigation.
