Police are on the scene of a reported shooting in Harrisburg at 17th and Regina Streets. A 23 year-old Harrisburg man was shot around noon. Danielle Kanowicz, the victim’s mother, said her son was just walking when “a bunch of young kids with black hoods on” walked up behind Christopher Kanowicz and started shooting. They fired about five or six shots. Her son was shot in the arm and was bleeding profusely from his wounds. He is expected to be alright and his mother says she is thankful it wasn’t worse. She says her son doesn’t get into trouble and believes it was a random act of violence.
