A Maryland man was arrested Saturday after leading police on a high speed chase along Interstate 81 in Cumberland County.
David E. Stryker, 51, of Hagerstown, fled from a traffic stop along I-81 north in Dickinson Township around 2 p.m., police said.
Investigators say they received numerous reports from passing motorists who witnessed an Stryker driving erratically.
When troopers caught up with Stryker–he fled and led them on a chase, with speeds reaching 120 mph. The chase ended at Exit 52A in Middlesex Township when a State Trooper disabled Stryker’s vehicle at the ramp.
Stryker was arrested and taken to Cumberland County Prison.
Charges are pending against Stryker.
The investigation is ongoing.
