Man sentenced in Double D’s bar shooting

A Harrisburg man who plead guilty to attempted murder was sentenced earlier this week to 15 to 30 years behind bars.

Christian Auter, 28, was sentenced Monday in Dauphin County Court. Auter plead guilty to charges including attempted murder, aggravated assault and weapons counts connected to a Sept. 2012 shooting at Double D’s Bar on South 19th Street in Harrisburg.

According to police reports, Auter was involved in an argument with a small group of men just before opening fire at the bar.

Auter will not be eligible for parole until May 7, 2028.
