New Holland Police are looking for and seeking more information on 49-year-old Steven Vanleer.
Police filed theft by deception charges against Vanleer on April 29 stemming from an incident that occurred back in February of 2014.
During that incident Vanleer convinced an 85-year-old New Holland man that he needed money to pay for items in storage. Vanleer told the victim he would pay him back in full in a few days with his large IRS refund. The victim gave Vanleer $835.11.
Vanleer never paid the victim back, and never returned the victims phone calls.
On April, 30 Constables attempted to serve a warrant at Vanleer’s last known address at 64 Pequea Valley Road in Kinzers Pa. Family members told the constable that Vanleer no longer lived there and has left the area.
