Ohio -Jamie Meder says his father showed him how a man treats a woman when he took care of Jamie’s mother during her battle with cancer. Meder gave up a shot at the NFL draft according to Fox8 to take care of his girlfriend while she fought her own battle.
The Ashland University lineman and Valley Forge graduate is now being honored for his commitment both on and off the field as his school retires his football jersey.
Meder’s girlfriend of seven years, Lyndsey Koehler is now cancer-free, and with another draft starting, it’s all about second chances.
