Shot fired into child’s room in Providence Township

Pennsylvania State Police are investigating after someone fired a shot into a child’s room in Lancaster County on Tuesday night.

According to police reports, two males were riding in a vehicle when they discharged a gun into a home along the 500 block of Clearfield Road in Providence Township around 8:30 p.m.

The bullet traveled through a window, through a child’s room, through a door and lodged into a wall, state police said.

The suspect’s vehicle is described as a white Dodge Ram pickup truck with tinted windows bearing a Pennsylvania license plate.
