Thieves steal electronics, cash from New Buffalo Alliance Church

Authorities are investigating after electronics and a small amount of cash were stolen from a Perry County Church.

The incident happened during the overnight hours between Wednesday and Thursday at New Buffalo Alliance Church located at 3352 Susquehanna Trail in Watts Township.

Church officials noticed the crime on Thursday morning when they found a broken window and several missing items.

According to police reports, the thieves stole a Dell laptop computer, a black plastic laptop briefcase, a wireless Microsoft mouse, approximately $15 in cash, a Cannon Powershot digital camera and a 2000 SR 24.4-VLZ Pro Mackie Soundboard.

It is unclear how much the stolen equipment is worth.
