It’s that time of the year again; the 39th Annual Olde York Street Fair was in full swing Sunday as dozens of people came out to celebrate Mother’s Day.
Organizers say the annual event offers a little something for everyone.
“Arts and crafts, music, games, Fun Block, delicious foods; we`ve had a wonderful time.”
Another crowd favorite was ‘The Bug Man.’ Ryan Bridge travels around town teaching people about insects.
Sunday he brought along insects from all over the world and gave kids of all ages a chance to get up close and personal with them.
“Madagascar hissing cock roaches, rose haired tarantulas and Asian four scorpions; we`re touching petting and handling anything they want to at this point,” he said.
Many of the moms we caught up with said they look forward to this event every year and that the best Mother’s Day gift to get is quality family time.
“I love my boys and I’m so glad and thankful I’m their mom,” said Brandy Mummert.
