Newport State Police are charging a man with criminal attempt rape after they say he was found inside a girl’s bedroom.
Police say in Blain on Saturday around 1:30 p.m. Andy Wolfgang, 42, of Blain, was found naked in a 9-year-old girl bedroom.
Charges of criminal attempted rape, criminal attempted statutory sexual assault, criminal attempted aggravated indecent assault, indecent assault, corruption of minors and indecent exposure have been filed against Wolfgang.
He was arraigned and is currently incarcerated with a $75,000 cash bail.
