Harrisburg City Council has a new council member. Mayor Eric Papenfuse cast the deciding vote breaking a tie, which give the council seat to Jeffrey Baltimore. Baltimore who previously worked for the city under the Reed administration, beat out Alex Reber.  12 people applied for the seat held by Eugenia Smith who passed away unexpectedly.  The field narrowed down to just two for the Monday night vote.
“I wore this shirt so I could roll up my sleeves. I wanted to thank you all for the process, it’s democracy at work so I’m happy to be here and ready to serve, said Baltimore.
