Lancaster County Drug Task Force Detectives charge a couple suspected of selling heroin from their home. The arrest of Tracey Lynn Gerena, 44, and Luis Guillermo Torruellas-Velazquez, 44, of Lancaster, follows a two month investigation.
Executing a search warrant upon their Filbert Street apartment last month, detectives seized 473 individual packets of heroin with a street value of $9,000. The heroin was found on the couple and hidden in various locations throughout the apartment. Detectives also seized paraphernalia associated with the packaging of heroin for sale, a small amount of cocaine and marijuana and $4,300 in cash.
Charges against the couple include Possession with Intent to Deliver Heroin, Criminal Conspiracy, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Cocaine and Possession of Marijuana.
Following arraignment Gerena was sent to Lancaster County Prison in lieu of $250,000 bail. Torruellas-Velazquez is being held in lieu of $500,000 bail.
