It’s the final question on Beaverton’s Annual Parent Survey that reads: “How do you define your sexual orientation? Heterosexual, Gay or Lesbian, Bisexual or Questioning.”
This is the first year the question has been included in the annual survey and it’s also the first year parents have been asked how they identify their gender.
The question is optional and it is an anonymous survey.
