A Chambersburg man, already a convicted felon, is charged in a Franklin County heroin bust. Shortly after 6 am on May 1, a state police SERT team along with the Franklin County Drug Task executed a search warrant at the home of Kyle Gordon, 821 Siloam Road in Greene Township.  The search warrant was issued as the result of an investigation that began on March 15. Several known heroin users were observed entering the home. Informants also made a series of controlled buys of heroin from Gordon inside his home.

During the search, investigators found heroin, crack cocaine, marijuana, prescription pills, cash and paraphernalia associated with the processing, packaging, and used of controlled substances. They also seized a loaded Ruger LC9 pistol. As a previously convicted felon, Gordon is not allowed possession of a firearm.

Charges against Gordon include seven counts of Unlawful Delivery or Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance, four counts of Criminal Use of Communications Facility, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Persons Not to Possess Firearms. He also faces a parole violation..
