…A FLASH FLOOD WATCH is in effect for our region tonight through late Friday…

NEXT SHOT:  As a warm front pushes north, we see an uptick in humidity and warm air today.  Highs hit the 80° mark with more clouds building.  Morning fog and drizzle give way to limited sun today.  Showers and storms are possible through the day, but the bulk of the rain holds off until late.

Temperatures will hold in the 60s overnight, dropping as the cold front passes during the day Friday.

As the cold front pushes through the state, rain picks up overnight lasting through the day Friday.  As the rain falls, so will temperatures.  We drop form the middle 60s at daybreak to the upper 50s by late afternoon.  Expect 1-2”+ of rain to fall, with localized flooding concerns developing.

One model solution for rainfall potential through Friday.

WEEKEND:  We’re partly cloudy Saturday.  Highs hit the upper 60s.  For Sunday, we do upper 60s again, but we bring a bit more sunshine to the mix.  Overall, the weekend looks great.  Rain chances are very small this weekend.

NEXT WEEK: The week starts dry with the coolest air finally moving on out after a Monday in the upper 60s.  Tuesday, we’re closer to 70° and Wednesday we do the middle 70s.

Enjoy your Thursday!
