Springettsbury Township police arrested a man after they say he robbed WalMart Saturday morning.
Police say Curtis Turane, of Columbia, is being charged with robbery and theft after he entered Walmart, handed a note to a cashier in the electronics department, saying he had a gun and wanted $20 dollar bills. The incident happened just before 4 a.m.
Police say Turane did get away with money, but the employee followed the suspect out and was able to give a description of the suspects van.
Police were able to stop the van on East market Street and arrest Turane.
He was transported to central booking and released on a 25,000 unsecured but supervised bail.
