Two Marietta Borough teenagers are in custody after starting a fire in an abandoned house on Sunday.

After 1 p.m., a nearby resident spotted the two girls entering a home along the 600 block of East Market Street and quickly called police. Shortly thereafter, the house caught on fire.

The two were identified after police arrived on the scene and were taken into custody.

The girls, 13 and 14, have both been committed to the Lancaster County Youth Intervention Center.
