WEEK ENDS:  Highs today bump up before a cold front helps to cool us off for Friday.  After a morning batch of a few storms, expect partly cloudy skies with a few showers or storms developing through the afternoon.  We top out near 80° today.  Some of the storms may produce damaging winds or hail, especially east.  Tonight, we drop to the low to middle 50s.  Friday, the cooler air slips in behind the front, as we only make it to the upper 60s to near 70°.  It’s partly cloudy with a few showers possible as a little energy slides through.

A few storms may be on the stronger side today, with gusty winds and hail, especially to our east.

LONG WEEKEND:  Saturday, we’re partly cloudy and trying to warm up a bit.  Highs will only make it to the low 70s.  A few showers are possible, but most of the day is dry.  Sunday features a good warm up!  We’re in the upper 70s with mostly sunny skies!  Monday, for Memorial Day plans, expect more sunshine and warmer air.  Highs are in the low 80s.  It’s looking dry.  Enjoy the long weekend.

NEXT WEEK:  We stay warm for the start of a short work week for many.  Highs will be in the middle 80s on Tuesday, with the shot at showers and storms returning to the picture.  We cool a bit for Wednesday with more showers and storms and highs in the upper 70s.
