HOLIDAY WEEKEND OUTLOOK:  Upper level trough still in control of our weather and with some energy rotating through still can’t rule out a brief shower for Saturday, otherwise, skies will be partly cloudy with highs in the low to mid 70s.  Trough loses grip over the northeast as a ridge of high pressure starts to build in. Temperatures really warm Sunday to the upper 70s with a great amount of sunshine. It will be even warmer Monday for the Memorial Day holiday in the low to mid 80 under plenty of sunshine! Cold front comes through Tuesday bringing a threat for showers and storms. Highs will still be warm around 82 but cool down to the mid and upper 70s heading into Wednesday. Our temperatures will quickly as we round out the last few days of May. We head back to the near 80 on Thursday with low 80s on Friday as an upper level ridge strengthens across the northeast. Right now it looks as if showers hold off until Saturday.
