A Harrisburg man who was convicted of molesting a girl for years will spend the next 13 to 26 years in prison.

Dauphin County Judge Richard A. Lewis imposed that penalty on Nathaniel Garfield 30, of Middletown, on Friday, five months after a county jury convicted Garfield of charges including aggravated indecent assault.

Middletown police said Garfield abused the girl from 2008 to 2011, when she was 13 to 15.

Lewis also deemed Garfield to be a sexually violent predator under Megan’s law, meaning he must register for life with police and that his future neighbors will be told he is a sex offender.
