Veterans and their families in Dauphin County got some extra help on Saturday.

The second Job and Resource Fair was held to connect vets to healthcare services as well as housing, college and employment opportunities– all for free.

In Dauphin County– the goal is to give veterans everything they need all in one place.

“We have a one stop shop, where people can get the information that they need and partake and meet other people that will be able to provide them with resources, services and employment,” said Helen Spence, the Dauphin County Systems of Care Communications Coordinator.

Support services are also provided for families and spouses of those who have served in the military.

The event was thanks in part to the Dauphin County Commissioners and included activities for children.
