Overnight shooting in Lancaster leaves one man dead

Lancaster police say one man is dead after a fight turns into a shooting. Police were called to the scene for a fight with a large crowd in the 100 block of E. Chestnut Street and N. Cherry Street just after 2:00 a.m. Saturday.

Police found Domonique Boyer, 27, shot in the chest. Boyer was immediately taken to Lancaster General Hospital where he later died of his injuries.

Police are still investigating, anyone with any information is askedĀ  to call police at 717-735-3300.
