Carlisle Police say the victim of a shooting Saturday night is expected to survive. It happened on the corner of North Pitt Strret and A Street shortly before 8pm.

James Felix Walker, 44, was shot several times. He is still in the hospital.

Police say they do not believe Walker was a random target and that he knew the shooter or shooters. They say Walker has an extensive rap sheet, both in and out of Pennsylvania.
