A mother and father are facing several charges after police said their 18-month-old child fell out of a moving pickup truck last month in Lancaster County.

Stacey Camacho, 42,  and Willie Camacho,  50, both of  Ephrata were charged Monday with Endangering the Welfare of Children and Recklessly Endangering Another Person.

Officers with Northern Lancaster County Regional Police responded to the Starlight Campground located along the 1500 block of Furnace Hills Drive in Stevens on May 31 for a report of three unconscious males and an 18-month-old child who were injured after falling from the back of a moving pickup truck.

All four passengers suffered head injuries in the fall. They were taken to local hospitals for treatment and were later released.

According to police reports,  Stacey Camacho was driving the pickup truck when the incident happened.

Police say alcohol was a factor.

The couple’s child is currently being cared for by a relative.
