Daylynn Smith was found shot in the chest along Hanover Street in Harrisburg at 11:30 p.m. on June 3.


A prayer vigil is scheduled to be held Friday in Harrisburg to remember the life of Daylynn Smith.

Smith, 21, was shot to death in Hall Manor on June 3. He was a 2012 graduate of Cedar Cliff High School.

The vigil will take place at 6 p.m. near the Hanover Street Entrance to Hall Manor.

The Harrisburg chapter of Heeding God’s Call, an interfaith effort to stop the illegal use of guns and gun violence, is sponsoring the vigil.
