Clouds build through Sunday. There’s a chance for a few late day showers and thunderstorms, mainly for the western half of the area. The eastern half is dry until the evening.

We wake up to a few clouds Sunday morning. Temperatures are in the upper 50s to lower 60s.

After a gorgeous Saturday, the evening remains pleasant and mild with some passing clouds. The rest of the night is quiet too, but it’s milder too than the past couple of nights. Overnight lows fall into the upper 50s to lower 60s. As a system out west works this way, we’ll notice some extra clouds around daybreak, but the morning still features plenty of sunshine. Clouds will be increasing through the rest of the day, however. As the system gets closer, there will be a chance for some late day showers and thunderstorms, mainly for our western areas. The eastern half of our area should be dry until after sunset. Highs are in the upper 70s to lower 80s.

Into Monday the humidity builds. There will be the chance for some showers and thunderstorms before Sunday night’s system exits. The chance for a few thunderstorms continues Tuesday and Wednesday as an unsettled pattern sets up over the area. Some sunshine will peak through at times. No day looks like a washout through Wednesday. High temperatures are in the upper 70s Monday, and lower 80s for Tuesday and Wednesday.

The wettest portion of the week will be the end. More widespread showers and thunderstorms enter the picture on Thursday as another storm system heads this way. More showers and thunderstorms are likely Friday before the system exits the region. By Saturday, sunshine and less humidity return to the area. Highs are in the lower 80s through this timeframe.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
