Burglary suspect tased following chase in West Hanover Township

A 54-year-old man is in custody after state troopers tasered him for resisting arrest following a chase in West Hanover Township, Dauphin County. It all started just before 4 a.m. Friday along the 7800 block of Lingelstown Road.

According to police reports, David R. Guisewhite, of no fixed address, was arrested and tasered following a foot chase after troopers spotted Guisewhite driving a stolen vehicle that contained 58 cartons of stolen cigarettes.

Guisewhite was wanted by several different state and out of state agencies on multiple felony warrants including burglary, robbery, theft and theft of a motor vehicle.

He was taken to the Dauphin County Judicial Center for processing an arraignment.
