UPDATE: Lancaster County Coroner Dr. Stephen Diamantoni identified the victim in the Lancaster Township shooting as Jonathon Santiago, 26, who lived in the 800 block of Prangley Avenue.

Leonard Wall was asleep after celebrating Father’s Day when a loud sound woke him up. “I heard some shots, it sounded like fire crackers” Wall said. After he heard the shots, he walked outside his house and saw a man lying on the ground who was near death. The man was surrounded by other people talking to him. “They were saying breathe breathe, keep breathing and don’t let go” Wall said.

Manheim Township Police Chief, Neil Harkins said that the 26-year-old was in bad shape. “He had a bullet wound and he was bleeding profusely. He was transported to the hospital and unfortunately he later passed away from that wound” said Harkins.

Harkins said they don’t have a suspect, but may know about the vehicle they used. “We believe there was a white Honda, four door vehicle involved in this and we believe that the shooter left in that Honda. Possibly there were other people in the Honda, we’re not sure.”

Meanwhile Wall said his thoughts and prayers are with the victim and his family. “He was cut off at what I believe to be the prime of a young kids life” said Wall.
