Police in Swatara Township are hoping a reward will help them nab a man who robbed the Susquehanna Valley Federal Credit Union last September.
Authorities are offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the robber who held up the bank on East Park Drive on Sept. 12, 2013.
According to police reports, a man forced his way into the bank at about 8:15 a.m. and threatened employees with a gun. The man got away with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was hurt during the incident, investigators said.
The gunman is described as about 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing about 225 pounds. He was wearing black sneakers, a black hooded jacket and black pants with a camouflage mask during the robbery.
Anyone with information on the identity of the man involved is asked to contact Detective Cpl. Timothy Shatto at 717-564-2550.
