Authorities in Cumberland County are investigating an attempted child luring that occurred Sunday afternoon at a community park. A 12-year-old girl told police that around 2 p.m. she was approached by a strange man while she was playing at the Lower Allen Community Park along the 4000 block of Lisburn Road.
The man allegedly pulled his vehicle next to the girl and asked her twice to get into his vehicle. The girl, who was unharmed, ran away and told an adult about what happened.
Police describe the suspect as a white man in his 30’s, with dark brown hair and a goatee. The vehicle was described as a black four-door sedan, similar in style and description to a Volkswagen Passat.
